Taste of darkness has a unique dining experience where you dine in complete darkness and just experience the food. The entire cafe is masked by absolute darkness and the customers learn much about the lives of the visually impaired. To add to the experience are the shaking bridge and the park experience.

New Lucky Restaurant in Ahemdabad — No one likes to talk about death or dying and certainly not want to open a restaurant in a graveyard. But Owner Krishnan Murti did what none of them thought to do. He not only opened his restaurant in a graveyard but also set up his restaurants around it saying it brings him good luck. Oh and crowd that comes to try out the tea and freshly made rolls never ceases to amaze.

Veli Lake Floating Restaurant, Trivandrum — Kerela never ceases to amaze and this restaurant just adds another gem to this beautiful place. The village is in the middle of the lake and the floating restaurant is a part of the village. One has to cross floating bridges to reach the restaurant to eat the dishes prepared from local produce.

70mm in Hyderabad — The walls and ceilings are decorated with pictures of film stars and the fans are enough to put into the bollywood mood. This place is literally a heaven for all cinephiles out there. The ambience of this restaurant will surely take you back to the retro days.

Nature’s Toilet Café in Ahemdabad — India’s first ever toilet-themed restaurant, this cafe has a toilet garden around it which boasts of a collection of more than twenty lavatories and urinals which date as far back as the 1950s. The signboard outside the loo carries the sign “Haash!”

NASA in Bangalore — Even though the place was shut down to make way for a multinational food chain, it deserves a mention on this list. Modeled like a spaceship, the waiters at this pub wore spacesuits and looked like astronauts . The entire pub was swathed in neon-blue light which gave the customers an other-worldly feel.

Silver Metro in Bangalore — Travelling in a metro is much nicer than travelling by a local but have you ever thought how it would feel to dine in one? Well, worry not. Silver metro in Bangalore will fulfill that wish of yours. The interiors are just like the interiors of a train with its walls painted silver. So now instead of rushing to grab a place to sit, grab a seat to dine.

Seva Café in Ahemdabad — Offering someone food and feeding other people have always been a big part of the Indian culture. This restaurant works on the same principle. The meal you will have in the restaurant has already been paid for by someone in advance, and you can return the favour by paying for someone else’s meal.

Puppychino in New Delhi — This one is for all the dog lovers out there. This restaurant has been started by two sisters. This place lets you hang out with dogs and spend your time with them.

Leaping Windows in Mumbai — There’s another place for booklovers to read other than their home and crosswords. With indoor, outdoor, rooftop and underground seating, this place is remarkably exquisite, considering its small size. The place is ideal for a good read and some mouthwatering food.
