Vaishali Takkar, who rose to fame with the popular television show, ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ is all set to start a new chapter of her life as she will be tying the knot with Dr. Abhinandan Singh soon. On April 26, the actress got engaged and shared a video from their Roka ceremony. The function was an intimate affair with only the close family of the couple in attendance.

Sharing the video on her Instagram handle, Vaishali wrote, “What’s yours will Ultimately find you even from another end of the world. #Rokafied To this Wonderful Man Dr. Abhinandan Singh AKA My Mr. Africa. #AbhiShali #rokaceremony (sic).”

The actress also revealed her wedding location. In an interview with SpotBoye, Vaishali shared that she will be getting married to the man of her life in Uganda, a country in East Africa as her fiance resides there. “He is a Dental surgeon and also won the title of Mr. Uganda, a few years back.”

Vaishali shared that she met Abhinandan through an Indian matrimonial site and they had planned to get married in May without meeting personally. The preparations for their wedding had already begun, however, they decided to put a hold on it due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation as the flights are not running smoothly.

The actress said that they decided to meet each other personally and her parents got them ‘rokafied’. She said that it was spontaneous and nothing was planned and the ceremony took place in the presence of their parents.

She began talking to Abinanadan in December last year and has been talking for five months. Talking about her marriage plans now, she said that her fiance’s family resides in Uganda whereas he is settled in Kenya.  Lastly, Vaishali said that if things fall into place, they will get married in June or July this year in Uganda.
