Sherni: Vidya Balan shares new poster, to premiere on Amazon Prime

Vidya Balan is back with another film! On Monday, the Mission Mangal actress shared the first poster of her upcoming movie, Sherni. After the release of Shakuntala Devi, this film will also be released on the OTT platform- Amazon Prime Videos.

Sharing the poster on her social media handle, Vidya Balan wrote: “Fearless as she steps out into the world! Happy to announce my latest film ‘Sherni’ @primevideoin Meet #SherniOnPrime in June. @tseriesfilms @TSeries @Abundantia_Ent @vikramix @ShikhaaSharma03 @AasthaTiku #AmitMasurkar”

In the poster, the Begun Jaan actress looks fearless and can be seen in a tense expression, dressed as a forest officer with a walkie-talkie in her hand.

Amazon Prime also shared the poster and wrote: “She is ready to leave a mark! Meet the #SherniOnPrime in June. @vidya_balan #AmitMasurkar @vikramix @ShikhaaSharma03 @AasthaTiku @Abundantia_Ent @TSeries”

In the second half of October, Vidya Balan began the shooting for Sherni in Madhya Pradesh keeping all Covid 19 protocols in mind. In early March, when the shoot of the film commenced on World Wildlife Day, Vidya had shared a picture of the mahurat puja.

Sherni revolves around the man-animal conflict and features Vidya Balan playing the role of a forest officer. The film will also feature stars like Sharad Saxena, Mukul Chaddha, Vijay Raaz, Ila Arun, Brijendra Kala, and Neeraj Kabi.
