England vs India: Visitors turn tables around in last session of Day 1
England batting line up fell like nine pins in the last session once their skipper was caught short of his crease when he attempted for the second run against a strong and moreover accurate arm of Indian skipper Virat Kohli. This was the beginning of a rampage by Indian bowlers as English batsman had no answers as they lost six wickets in the space of just 69 runs.

Everything was going well before the error in judgement that proved costly for the home side. Dawid Malan and Jos Buttler fell cheaply as Shami and Ashwin got the respective wickets in no time after the departure of Root in the last session of the day. Bairstow perished playing a cut short against a clueless Umesh Yadav who had an off day apart from getting rid of the wicket keeper batsman.
