Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’s Karan Mehra ARRESTED after wife Nisha Rawal files complaint

In a shocking turn of events, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actor Karan Mehra has been arrested by Mumbai Police after his wife and actress Nisha Rawal filed a complaint against him in Gorgeoan last night after their fight.

News agency ANI tweeted: “Maharashtra | Actor Karan Mehra arrested after his wife & actor Nisha Rawal filed a complaint in Goregaon area last night. Rawal filed a complaint against Mehra following a brawl. A case has been registered: Mumbai Police”

According to a report in SpotBoye, the couple had a major fight at their residence in Mumbai last night, wherein Karan went on of anger hit Nisha to an extent that she has got stitches on her head. After that, an FIR was filed against Karan and the Goregaon police station detained the actor late last night. Currently, Karan is in police custody.

Confirming the news, DCP Vishal Thakur quoted, “We have arrested him on the charges of domestic violence. His wife Nisha Rawal has filed complaint.”

A few days back, the couple was in the headlines as there was news doing rounds stating that their marriage is facing troubles. However, the couple denied the rumors.

The couple got married in 2012 and before were in a relationship for 6 years prior to their marriage. They met on the sets of the 2008 film, ‘Hastey Hastey.’ Karan and Nisha also have a four-year-old named, Kavish.
