Meanwhile, the veteran actor opened up sometime ago about his early struggles with popularity and fame that came along with the success of the film. He disclosed that he had to actually seek professional help so that he could deal with all of it.

Apparently, as per report, Al Pacino told The Hollywood Reporter that the fame and attention which he had all of a sudden received was a huge thing that he could get used to. As he was struggling to grasp his new-found fame, his director Lee Strasberg told him that all he needed to do was simply adjust as there was no other way of dealing it.

“And you simply do. But it’s not so simple,” Al Pacino said.

Apparently, the 79 year old actor added that as a consequence of the sudden change in his lifestyle and everything else he had to resort to the therapy and would quite often visit his therapist about five times a week. According to the report, this continued for about 25 years straight onward.

After his success back in the 1970s, Pacino chose to slow down thereafter and so he featured in about five films in the 80s. Not only that, he stated more that he began taking very few projects as he desired to move away from the pace of the whole thing and gradually felt good about it later.
