Alia Bhatt And Ranbir Kapoor to Tie the Knot in December?

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor might finally be ready to tie the knot. After numerous false alarms and countless fake wedding invites, the fans finally have a reliable source giving weight to the news. Film critic and entertainment journalist Rajeev Masand shared the news in an article in Open Magazine.

According to Masand, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are looking to zero in on a date after the release of their first movie together. Brahmastra hits theaters on December 4. “Alia and Ranbir Kapoor are set to tie the knot in December this year, not long after the release of Brahmastra on the 4th of that month,” said the Open Magazine article.

The article also said the preparations of the big day have already begun in the Bhatt and the Kapoor households.  “Preparations are already underway; their extended families have been asked to mark off those dates to join in the celebrations.”

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been dating for a while now. Last year, while receiving the Best Actress trophy for Raazi, Alia Bhatt declared her love for Ranbir Kapoor. She said, “Meghna, for me, ‘Raazi’ is you, your blood and sweat. You are my main chick. Vicky, without you, the film wouldn’t be complete. Thank you, my mentor, Karan for being my mentor, father and my fashion police. Tonight is all about love; there, my special one, I love you Ranbir.”

On the work front, Alia is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s crime drama Gangubai Kathiawadi, in which she plays a mafia queen.
