Amitabh Bachchan First Indian Celebrity Voice for Amazon’s Alexa

Amazon Alexa’s popularity has been growing in India, with over a thousand requests received every minute since March 2020 to May 2020. Now the users in India will also get a celebrity voice experience. Amitabh Bachchan has collaborated with Amazon to create a unique experience for users in India.

The company in a statement said, “Amitabh Bachchan will partner with Amazon to deliver a unique voice experience. To get a flavour, just say “Alexa, Say Hello to Mr. Amitabh Bachchan” on any Alexa-enabled device.”

Amazon further added that customers in India would get access to Bachchan’s iconic voice on Alexa by purchasing the Amitabh Bachchan voice experience, and it will be available next year.

This is not the first celebrity voice experience Amazon has been doing it for long now. In December 2019 they had partnered with Hollywood star Samuel L Jackson. The experiment was a success.

Amazon head Amit tweeted the good news,

Alexa is available on the Echo, Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote, Fire TV Edition. It is also available in several third party devices like mobile phones, Bluetooth speakers, headphones, wearables. The latest Smart TVs also come with built-in Alexa.
