Ananya Panday Welcomed Onboard Puri Jagannadh’s Fighter

Vijay Deverakonda already has his next project in the works as his film World Famous Lover hit the theaters on Valentine’s Day. The actor’s next project is directed by Puri Jagannadh and titled Fighter. Vijay Deverakonda will be joined by Bollywood actress Ananya Panday who plays the female lead in the film. Fighter is said to be a Telugu-Hindi film.

The director of the venture, Puri Jagannadh took to Twitter to welcome Ananya writing, “Happy to Welcome on board Gorgeous @ananyapandayy for our Pan India venture with my hero @TheDeverakonda produced by @karanjohar @Charmmeofficial @apoorvamehta18 Having fun directing this cool venture (sic)”

Karan Johar also tweeted to welcome the actress on board. “Welcoming the stunning @ananyapandayy for our Pan-India venture with @TheDeverakonda, directed by @purijagan! @Charmmeofficial @apoorvamehta18 It’s going to be a thrilling ride! @PuriConnects #PCfilm #AnanyaPandayVijayDeverakonda”

Apoorva Mehta wrote, “Welcome on board @ananyapandayyfor our Pan-India venture with @TheDeverakonda, directed by @purijagan! @Charmmeofficial @karanjohar @PuriConnects #PCfilm #AnanyaPandayVijayDeverakonda”

Similarly, Ananya Panday replied back with her enthusiasm for the project while expressing how elated she was about joining the project. She wrote, “Elated to be working on this amazing project Thank you so much for this opportunity

In addition, she also thanked Karan Johar and director Puri Jagannadh for the warm welcome. Shooting for the Ananya Panday and Vijay Deverakonda starrer fighter will start in the coming days. Sources have revealed that Vijay Deverakonda has been taking boxing lessons to prepare for his role in the upcoming film.
