Recently, Anushka Sharma shared her viral ‘Sui Dhaaga’ meme to entertain her fans amid the lockdown.

Anushka Sharma’s meme contained a gorgeous picture of the actress that read ‘Quarantine Day 1’ on top and on the other side was the meme face of her character ‘Mamata’ from her 2018 film ‘Sui Dhaaga’ and it reads ‘Quarantine Day 21.’

Sharing the meme on social media, she wrote, “Bore ho rahe honge. Chalo thoda hass lo.”

Addressing the ‘Sui Dhaaga’ meme’s Anushka had earlier told Mumbai Mirror, “I thought the memes were hilarious. I kept sharing them with Varun (Dhawan), Sharat (Katariya) and my friends. It is a compliment that my character has been stuck in people’s head after they watched the trailer. Mamta has become a figure that everyone identifies with. Memes have become a common feature today. People actually dedicate time to make them. But in our case, it happened naturally and that too, on a huge scale.”

Talking about the film, ‘Sui Dhaaga,’ directed by Sharat Katariya and produced by Aditya Chopra and Maneesh Sharma. The film also featured Varun Dhawan in the lead role and it received positive reviews from critics. It also proved to be a commercial success at the box office.

The actress is currently spending her quarantine with hubby Virat Kohli, and they keep their fans updated by posting videos and pictures on their respective Instagram profiles.

On the professional front, Sharma was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s 2018 film ‘Zero,’ co-starring Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif, she has not announced any new projects yet, but, her production house Clean Slate Films is venturing with Netflix’s web-series ‘Mai.’
