Anushka Shetty injured on Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy sets
Baahubali actress Anushka Shetty injured on the sets of Chiranjeevi's film 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy'.
‘Baahubali’ actress Anushka Shetty was injured on the sets of Chiranjeevi starrer magnum opus ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’. The stunning beauty has a crucial cameo in the movie that is being produced by Ram Charan. Anushka injured her leg while shooting an important scene in the film.
As reported by a source to India Today, Anushka Shetty best known for her character Devasena in Baahubali is currently busy with the shoot of Sye Raa. A few days ago, she was shooting for important sequences for the film. Reportedly, she met with an accident while performing and fractured her leg. Anushka didn’t want the news to spread , so she silently met the doctor and has been advised rest for a few weeks. It is said that the Arundhati actress will be back on the sets of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy sooner than expected.
The Surender Reddy’s directorial is a Telugu historical war drama, the filming of which began on 6 December 2017 in Hyderabad. Other than Anushka, it features South superstar Chiranjeevi, Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi, Jagapathi Babu, Nayanthara and Tamannaah Bhatia. Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be playing the role of Chiranjeevi’s mentor in this magnum opus.
The story of ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ is based on the life of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy from Rayalaseema who revolted against the British. The film is slated to release on October 2, 2019.
