Apple iPad Pro (2018): Pre-booking starts, price in India and specifications

Apple’s iPad Pro (2018) pre-booking has started in India. The company is scheduled to launch iPad Pro (2018) in India on November 16. The development comes after Apple reseller Imagine posted the launch date on its Facebook account.

Apple’s iPad Pro will be available in Space Grey and Silver colour. Both the versions will be equipped with Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi+ Cellular variants for connectivity. Apple is introducing four storage options with the new iPad Pro which are 64GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB.

Five percent cash back is being offered by both Maple and Unicorn on EMI for Citibank Credit cards and Axis Card bank holders. If you want to purchase via EMI, you can also avail Bajaj finserv, which is offering no-cost EMI. The EMI options start from Rs 3,183 per month for the new iPad Pro series, depending on your bank.

Apple iPad Pro: Specifications, features

The newly launched iPad Pro comes in two display sizes, 12.9-inches and 11-inches, and both feature a Liquid Retina display. Screen resolution for the 12.9-inch iPad is 2732 x 2048 pixels, while that of the 11-inch iPad Pro stands at 2388 x 1668 pixels. Both, though, have the same pixel density of 264 ppi.

The iPad Pro (2018) has a 12MP rear camera and 7MP True Depth front camera like the iPhone series. Apple has also introduced type-C USB port on both the iPads, which will support USB 3.1 Gen 2.

Prices of iPad Pro (2018) in India

The Wi-Fi only variant of the 11-inch iPad Pro has been priced at Rs 71,900 for 64GB storage, Rs 85,900 for the 256GB storage, Rs 1,03,900 for 512GB and Rs 1,39,900 for 1TB. The iPad Pro with 12.9-inch display with Wi-Fi starts at Rs 89,900 for the 64GB variant, 256GB version will be sold at Rs 1,03,900, while the 512GB option will cost Rs 1,21,900.

The 1TB variant with only Wi-Fi will cost Rs 1,57,900 for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro.

Apple’s 12.9-inch iPad Pro with Wi-Fi + Cellular will start from Rs 1,03,900 for the 64GB variant, the 256GB variant will cost Rs 1,17,900, while the 512GB version will cost Rs 1,35,900. The most expensive iPad Pro will be the 1TB variant at Rs 1,71,900 for WiFi+Cellular connectivity.
