Asus has finally unleashed the list of smartphones which will have Android 9 Pie update in the coming days. It is to be noted that Asus is one of a few mobile brands that promised to offer timely updates to the latest version of the OS. There are several smartphone companies still don’t offer a timely update and their users had to stick with the OS version that the phone came with.

According to the Taiwanese company, it will be updating the phones like Asus ROG phone, ZenFone 4 Max (ZC554KL), ZenFone 4 Selfie (ZD553KL), ZenFone 5, and ZenFone 4 Max.

The list of Asus devices has been published on Zen Talk – the company’s official forum — by the forum moderators, thus lending credibility to the source. Since it’s effectively only a promise, there is a chance that not all of these phones will receive the latest update.
The company has recently launched ZenFone Max Pro M2, which has been powered by a powerful Snapdragon 660 chipset and stock Android interface. Asus’s last two smartphones ZenFone Max Pro M2 and Asus ZenFone 5Z, already have Android 9 Pie update.
In order to grab the user’s attention, Asus keeps offering a discount on its smartphones from time-to-time, making them good value for many options in the budget segment. However, the company has been unveiling all its phones with Android Oreo and has been promising the Pie update.
