2. Deepika Padukone

The queen of Bollywood Deepika Padukone was first seen in Himesh Reshammiya’s music video. Yes, the Padmaavat star was seen in the song ‘Naam Hai Tera’. She also bagged her first movie all thanks to this video as Farah Khan had once confessed that she had first noticed Deepika in the video and had later signed her for Om Shanti Om opposite Shah Rukh Khan. 3. Malaika Arora

The lady with drool-worthy looks left her fans mesmerised much before ‘Chaiya Chaiya’. Yes, Malaika Arora was seen in Bally Sagoo and Malkit Singh’s peppy folk number ‘Gur Nalo Ishq Mitha’ with Jas Arora. Falguni Pathak introduced us to a young girl dancing to the tunes of her song ‘Yaad Piya Ki’. The song went on to be a Navratri anthem. The young girl went on to be a popular actress. Yes, we are talking about the stunning Riya Sen. The video gave her that much-needed break in the movies.

6. Ayesha Takia:

Ayesha Takia was a child artist and was seen in many ads. However, she became a familiar face only after she featured in Falguni Pathak’s ‘Chunar Udd Jaye’ video. The soulful song was picturised on two lovers, one of them played by Takia. The actress looked so young and adorable in the video as she was paired opposite Dineo Morea’s younger brother Santino Morea.

7. Vidya Balan:

Powerhouse actress Vidya Balan is riding high on the success of ‘Mission Mangal’. The actress who has left us impressed with her acting chops was also a part of television shows and modelling too. But much before her Bollywood debut, she was also seen in a music video ‘Aana Meri Gully’ by Euphoria.

8. John Abraham:

Model, actor and producer John Abraham won hearts with his performance in Batla House. But not many know that he had also starred in a Pankaj Udhas number. Yes, John Abraham was seen in ‘Chupke Chupke’ song from the ghazal maestro. The handsome little known model with cute dimples and long hair left many hearts fluttering as he rode his bike with a swag.

9. Milind Soman:

Long before he became the country’s Ironman and poster boy for fitness, Milind Soman was noticed during his appearance in the title song of singer Alisha Chinai’s ‘Made in India’. The album and Soman went on to become a huge hit, putting both the singer and the model on the map.

10. Dia Mirza:

Actress cum model Dia Mirza is among the lucky few who got a chance to be a part of a video that was sung by Asha Bhosle. Yes, Mirza starred in Asha Bhonsle’s melodious track, ‘Na Marte hum’. The song rose up the popularity charts and was even featured regularly on radio and television programmes. Mirza, who is half-German, also acted in the title song of the album, Khoya Khoya Chand, before she landed the lead role in her debut Hindi movie, Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein in the year 2001.

11. Sameera Reddy:

Sameera Reddy who has worked in Bollywood, Tamil and Telugu cinema had her first brush with fame in a musical video. She was seen in Pankaj Udhas 1997 music video ‘Aur Ahista’. The song was quite popular for its love story which was based on The Gifts of Magi. Sameera had even shared an Instagram post recently stating how the project changed her life. The actress filmed for the part in Australia and thus made her debut into showbiz.
