Now with the government relaxing the rules and theatres once again opening. Production houses are gearing to release their films on the big screen once again.

A number of big-budget films have shared their release date to the excitement of fans. With so many releases, 2021 does sound like a great year for the movie buffs. But it will be a trying time for the producers as a number of big releases are set to clash at the box-office. Be it Salman Khan’s Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, Prithviraj, Gangubai Kathiawadi or Radhe Shyam. Take a look at all films set to clash in the months ahead, unless makers shuffle dates.

Here are 7 big-budget films clashing at the box-office this year:

1. Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai vs Satyamev Jayate 2:

Salman Khan’s Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, directed by Prabhudeva, was all set to hit the screens on Eid 2020. But the movie was delayed due to the COVID-19 lockdown. The makers have finally shared the release date and it will now hit the screens on Eid(May 14) Meanwhile, the makers of John Abraham’s Satyameva Jayate 2 too announced May 14 (Eid 2021) as the release date. Seems like the Bollywood biggies will be locking horns at the box office this Eid.

2. Shershah vs Major:

Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani have come together for a biopic on Param Vir Chakra awardee and army Captain Vikram Batra. The movie is all set for a July 2 release. The release date of the film has left movie buffs in a great dilemma. The film is all set to clash with Major, which is based on the life of a braveheart Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. He had lost his life in the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai. Major is also releasing on July 2.

3. RRR vs Maidaan:

SS Rajamouli’s much-awaited period drama features Ram Charan and Jr NTR playing the roles of freedom fighters. The movie also features Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in pivotal roles. Recently the makers have shared the release date of the movie. RRR will be hitting the theatres on 13th October. Ajay Devgn also has Maidaan where he is playing the role of football coach Syed Abdul Rahim. The movie will be hitting the screens two days after RRR. Yes, Maidaan’s release date falls on 15th October. It looks like Ajay Devgn is all set for a face-off with himself in October.

4. Prithviraj vs Jersey:

Akshay Kumar’s another highly anticipated film Prithviraj will be releasing on 5th November. The period drama also features Manushi Chillar. It is all set to clash with Shahid Kapoor’s sports drama Jersey. Mrunal Thakur is playing the female lead. Jersey will be clashing with Prthiviraj on November 5.

5. Gangubai Kathiawadi vs Radhe Shyaam:

Alia Bhatt will be seen playing the role of Gangubai Kathiawadi in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film. The movie is based on a chapter of Husain Zaidi’s popular book Mafia Queens Of Mumbai. It will be releasing on July 30. Pan Indian Superstar Prabhas will be seen romancing Pooja Hegde in the upcoming romantic drama Radhe Shyam. The much-awaited film is also releasing on July 30. Looks like the clash of Titans this July.

6. Mumbai Saga vs Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar:

John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi are sharing screen space in Sanjay Gupta’s Mumbai Saga. The crime drama has John playing the role of a gangster whereas Emraan will be seen as a cop. The movie will be releasing on March 19 the same day as Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar.

7. Roohi vs Time To Dance:

Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao are coming together for the horror-comedy Roohi. The movie that also features Varun Sharma will release on March 11. Katrina Kaif’s stunning sister Isabelle is marking her Bollywood debut with Time To Dance co-starring Sooraj Pancholi. The dance drama will be hitting the theatres a day after Roohi releases. Time To Dance will release on March 12.
