Black Swan’s Official MV: BTS Transform Into Black Swans in New Video

Almost two weeks after BTS dropped their latest album, Map of the Soul: 7, and they are all set to shatter their previous records again. After breaking TikTok and hit number one on the Billboard 200 making it their 4th album to do so with that span, BTS has taken the world of social by media by storm with their yet another brand new music video from our boys.

Notably, BTS is returning to one of Map of the Soul: 7’s lead singles — “Black Swan” — and it is damn good. The video clip shows all members of BTS dons a white and they slowly transform into black swans as they dance inside an intimate theatre.

The K-pop boys had earlier released a video for the single, featuring a film by the MN Dance Company. The BTS members performed the track on The Late Late Show in January this year. The latest “Black Swan” video follows last week’s second video for “On.”

There are people who are comparing Jimin, Jungkook and Jin to Natalie Portman’s character from Black Swan (2010). There are also people who are drawing a comparison between Darren Aronofsky’s 2010 ballet psychodrama of the same name becuase both are deeper, darker and thought-provoking.

Meanwhile, BTS’ recently released album Map of the Soul: 7 has hit #1 in the US, the UK, Germany and Japan’s music charts. Moreover, MOTS: 7 has already surpassed 500,000 equivalent album units in the US and will further be boosted by Black Swan MV.
