BTS’s Butter Song Breaks Five Major Records On Different Platforms 

South Korean boyband, BTS is currently on a promotional spree. The band after releasing the colorful yet smooth song- Butter has been performing on the stage. ARMY’s couldn’t ask for more as the band appear winning million hearts with their stage performances and stylish avatars. Just a few days after its release the song garnered many accolades from across the globe and it already garnered five major records. Five major records broke by BTS’s Butter song:

1. Butter garnered most viewers for the premiere of any of their videos on YouTube. It had garnered 3.9 million concurrent viewership on May 21.
2. Butter song broke the record for the most viewed premiere of a music video on YouTube. The record was confirmed by YouTube on May 24.
3. The official music video for Butter which is posted on the Hybe Labels garnered over 113 million views within just a day of its release. The record was previously held by its own song Dynamite.
4. 24 hours after its release, Butter also broke the record for the most-viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours with 108,200,000 views, also breaking the record for the most-viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours by a K-pop group.
5. Butter has also been released on Spotify, wherein it garnered around 11, 042, 335 global streams in just one day. Which makes the band break the record for the most streamed track on Spotify in the first 24 hours. Earlier the positions were held by Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber’s track I Don’t Care by 64,946 streams. For the unversed, on April 27, BTS had been streamed 16.3 billion times on Spotify, breaking the record for the most-streamed act on Spotify (group).
