Chehre: Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi starrer RELEASE date announced

Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi starrer ‘Chehre’ is one of the most-anticipated films of the year. It brings Amitabh back in his lawyer’s cape while Hashmi plays the role of a business tycoon. Now, the makers of the film have finally also has a release date. It is slated to release on April 30 in the theatres.

The official social media handle of Anand Pandit Motion Pictures shared the official poster of ‘Chehre.’ Announcing the release date, the caption read as: “#Chehre se bada koi naqaab nahi hota! Uncover the real #Chehre, the much-awaited mystery-thriller, in theatres on 30th April 2021. #FaceTheGame @SrBachchan @emraanhashmi @anandpandit63 #RumyJafry @annukapoor_ @krystledsouza @SiddhanthKapoor #RaghubirYadav #DhritimanChatterjee”

In the poster, Big B and Emraan look serious and are trying to attempt to solve a mystery.

Amitabh and Emraan will be coming together onscreen for the very first time. ‘Chehre’ is directed by Rumi Jaffrey and also stars Krystle D’Souza, Annuu Kapoor, and Dhritiman Chatterjee, among others.  Rhea Chakraborty is also expected to be a part of the film, however,  she has not been mentioned in the cast or featured on the poster.

‘Chehre’ is bankrolled by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures & Saraswati Entertainment Private Limited. The film was announced on 11 April 2019 and filming began on 10 May 2019. It was scheduled for worldwide release on 17 July 2020 but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
