Dabangg 3: Salman Khan explains about the viral Shivling pictures from the sets in Maheshwar
Superstar Salman Khan is at present in Indore shooting for the third installment of his much-awaited franchise ‘Dabangg 3′. Pictures and videos from the sets of the movie have been setting the social media on fire since past few days. Recently a picture of a Shivling covered with planks during the shoot of the film surfaced on the social media causing an uproar. Reacting to the situation Salman Khan has given a statement on the said subject putting an end to the controversy.

Salman Khan who has always promoted religious harmony said that the Shivling was covered with planks to protect its sanctity during the shoot of a song for’Dabangg 3‘ that is taking place on the banks of River Narmada in the religious town of Maheshwar. He further added that the act in no way meant to hurt anyone’s religious sentiments. The actor even assured that the planks were removed after the shooting.

‘Dabangg 3’ is the third part of the hit franchise by the same name and has Salman Khan as Chulbul Panday the Robinhood cop, Sonakshi Sinha will be reprising her role of Rajjo Chulbul Panday’s better half. Arbaaz Khan will also be seen as Makkhi Chulbul’s younger brother. The movie is being directed by Prabhu Deva and also features South star Sudeep as an antagonist.
