Krrish 4: Hrithik Roshan to play double role in the next Krrish film?

The announcement of Hrithik Roshan starrer Krrish 4 was made in 2018 but due to Rakesh Roshan’s illness, he was not able to start working on the film. As per the latest report, Rakesh Roshan is gaining his strength and will soon begin Krrish 4 with Hrithik Roshan as the script and everything is ready.

As per the latest media reports, Hrithik Roshan will play a double role in Krrish 4. Yes, you read it right. According to a report in The Asian Age, Super 30 actor is likely to play both the protagonist and antagonist in ‘Krrish 4’. Deepika Padukone is likely to play the lead actress in Krrish 4.

A source close to the actor said to Asian Age, Hirhitk Roshan has expressed a desire to play both roles in the films.

“For Hrithik’s superhero character to be effective, there must be a powerful antagonist who can stand opposite the protagonist. Hrithik has always been fascinated by the villain in superhero films. He has expressed his desire to his father Rakesh Roshan to play both Krrish and his adversary in Krrish 4, and the idea is being developed. It now depends entirely on how the screenplay shapes up. Rakesh will only go ahead with Hrithik in both the main roles if he likes the idea.!,” the source concluded.

Notably, Hrithik Roshan had previously played a dual role in ‘Koi…Mil Gaya’ (2003). For the unversed,  Krrish 4 is the fourth film in the sci-fi franchise after Koi… Mil Gaya (2003), Krrish (2006) and Krrish 3 (2013).

In earlier parts, the roles of antagonist were played by Vivek Oberoi as ‘Kaal’, Naseeruddin Shah as ‘Dr Siddhant Arya’ and Kangana Ranaut as ‘Kaya’.
