Several filmmakers are turning towards releasing their projects on OTT streaming giants due to the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. DisneyPlusHotstar recently made the announcement of releasing 7 big films together during the lockdown. The list of films include Ajay Devgn’s ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’, Alia Bhatt’s ‘Sadak 2’, Kunal Kemmu’s ‘Lootcase’, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Laxmmi Bomb’, Vidyut Jammwal’s ‘Khuda Haafiz’,  Abhishek Bachchan’s ‘The Big Bull’ and Varun Dhawan’s ‘Coolie No.1’. Hotstar landed itself in the troubled water after hosting a live press conference with only most popular actors. Kangana Ranaut comes out in support of Vidyut after getting snubbed for his movie.

Hotstar hosted the live press conferences for their audience for the big announcement of releasing seven films. The OTT streaming giant only invited A-lister- Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Abhishek Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Varun Dhawan. Actors such as Vidyut Jammwal and Kunal Kemmu were apparently not invited for the live press conference. Vidyut took to his Twitter handle expressed his sadness in a cryptic note. Kangana Ranaut in a tweet post backs the ‘Commando’ actor. Take a look at her tweet post, right below:

For last few days, Bollywood biggies have been under radar for the debate of nepotism. Netizens were seen calling out celebs and star kids, which resulted into few celebs quitting Twitter as they often got trolled.
