Popular singer Kanika Kapoor — who has tested positive for COVID-19 for the fourth time — has written an emotional post on Instagram. As thousands of Kanika Kapoor fans have been showing their concerns for her, she made it clear that she was not admitted to ICU and expressed her wish to meet her children and family members.

Taking to Instagram, Kanika Kapoor shared a picture which has a beautiful message written on it. The message reads, “Life teaches us to make good use of time, while time teaches us the value of life.”

Sharing the picture, she wrote a caption, “Going off to bed. Sending you all loving vibes. Stay safe you guys. Thank you for your concern but I am not in the ICU. I am fine. I hope my next test is negative. Waiting to go home to my kids and family…miss them!”

For the unversed, Kanika Kapoor had announced her COVID-19 diagnosis on Instagram but later deleted the post.

Family members of the singer told news agency IANS, “We are now worried over the test reports. It seems that Kanika is not responding to treatment and in this lockdown, we cannot even airlift her for advanced treatment. We can only pray for her recovery.”

Kanika, who was hospitalized on March 20, reportedly returned form London on March 9 and then travelled to Kanpur and Lucknow. After she tested positive for Coronavirus, she was brutally slammed by the media for attending parties and allegedly spreading the virus.

Kanika Kapoor, who is currently admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), was also criticized by the hospital administration for her ‘starry behaviour’.

The total number of coronavirus cases in India is constantly increasing. It has crossed the 1,100 mark on Sunday (March 29) with more than 30 lives lost to COVID-19.
