Karan Johar and Ranbir Kapoor accept Sui Dhaaga challenge; Shah Rukh Khan aces it

Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma-starrer Sui Dhaaga: Made in India is gearing up for its release next week and the promotions are in full swing.

As part of promotions, the makers have challenged India to take a sui dhaaga challenge where they have to put a thread through a needle in the least amount of time. Now when there’s such a fun challenge, out B-town celebs don’t shy away from taking it.

Earlier Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapoor had taken the challenge. Alia had furthur nominated Karan Johar and asked him to make Ranbir also do it.

Without any delay, Karan Johar and Ranbir Kapoor both took it up. After a little bit of a struggle, Ranbir could do it while Karan could not. Karan even accepted that he had never it before. They both also sung a line from the film’s song Chaav Laga.

While Karan Johar nominated Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor nominated her beau, Ranveer Singh to take up the challenge. In the video posted by Varun Dhawan, Ranveer Singh commented saying,”Lag gaye”, to which Varun replied, “Simba ko toh karna padega”.

After that Shah Rukh Khan also took up the challenge and he aced it. In his style, Shah Rukh took a huge needle and a thick thread and he did it in less than one second. His explanation to using a huge needle and a huge thread was ‘bade bade logo ki badi badi cheeze…’ and he even wished that the film is a badi badi hit. He captioned it saying, “@anushkasharma challenge done my way. Love u and all the best for Sui Dhaaga. May everyone’s hard work & belief be appreciated and rewarded.”

Anushka was also quick to declare that Shah Rukh is the winner. She tweeted saying, “0.000000001 SECONDSSSS! #SuiDhaagaChallenge world record ! Ultimate !! Give him the award already now !”

Sui Dhaaga: Made in India is ready to hit theatres on September 28.
