Kartik Aaryan lately landed himself in trouble due to an advertisement he recently did. The Pati Patni Aur Woh actor is in trouble where the ad used excessive photoshop on him. One of the popular social media account called out Kartik for using excessive photoshop and promoting toxic masculinity in an ad which he lately did.

The popular account on Instagram is known widely for exposing fake designs and rip-offs in the world of fashion and also calling out celebrities for supporting problematic narratives.
Meanwhile, the ad that Kartik did was for a hair-removal brand called Veet which was apparently released last month. In fact, the Instagram account shared the video with everyone. The caption read, “By popular demand, @kartikaaryan did @veetindia put you on the #Gandi #diet? #beautyplus #lol #dietsabya #photoshop #fake #abs.” Check out the video below.
Not only that, in the particular post, the account trolled the brand for resorting to excessive photoshop to show fake abs on the actor. The ad displays two Kartik’s – Hairy and Harry. In fact, according to the ad, as the character Harry has the ideal body type with hairless chest, he is able to date more girls and is also lucky compared to Hairy who has a hairy chest henceforth is not good looking.
Moreover, the Instagram account called the ad “Problematic, tone deaf, 2000- late version of masculinity and misleading too.” In addition to this, the ad is also posted on YouTube with the hashtag “#FindYouSexy.” Check out the video here.
