Ahead of the movie release, Katrina Kaif revealed that how much she was in love with Anushka Sharma’s character. It is to be noted that Anushka Sharma plays the role of a wheelchair-bound scientist. For the character of Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif literally cried when it was given to Anushka despite pleading.
Giving an interview to Bombay Times, Katrina has shared that she’s been with the story right from the word go and in the process, got attached to a few characters including Aafia, the character suffering from cerebral palsy.
Katrina Kaif quoted by Bombay Times as saying, “I loved it and cried because I didn’t get to play that character. I’ve been with the story from the start and have seen it develop into the story it is now. So, you obviously get attached to some characters, like I did with Anushka’s part.”
Kat, who is essaying the role of superstar Babita in the film continued to share that she’s at a point in her life where she’s “drawn towards situations and places” that she hasn’t been in before.
Katrina said, “More than it being challenging, it was not a happy or upbeat place to go back to. You are anyway trying to keep up and be happy in a happy space in your personal life, then, when you go on set, you have to go back and step into that zone. It’s not easy.”
The film ‘Zero’ is all set to hit the theatres on December 21.
