Madhuri Dixit to collaborate With Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Heera Mandi?

Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic collaboration remains Devdas, which also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai in the key roles. As Chandramukhi, she won million hearts. The actresses dancing skills added essence to the character that still remains fresh in our memory. According to the latest reports, the actress to team up with the director all over again for the upcoming film-Heera Mandi.

While talking about the film, a source close to the development informed Bollywood Hungama, “Sanjay Leela Bhansali has almost locked the cast of his magnum opus series Heera Mandi that he’s planning for Netflix. It’s being mounted on a grand scale, on a lavish budget and Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi have already been locked to play important characters in the show. But apart from them, SLB wanted to get Madhuri for a beautiful mujra that he’s planning. That will be one of the biggest highlights in the film.”

The source further revealed that Madhuri already showed her interest in the mujra. Bhansali on the other side only has this actress in his mind because of the way she brings grace and dignity to the dance numbers. “They are in advanced talks. It will be an eight to ten-day elaborate schedule and Madhuri has been offered a handsome sum to give a nod,” informs the source.

There is something with the way Sanjay Leela Bhansali presents dance numbers in his movies. From Dola Re Dola (Devdas), Nimbooda ( Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam), Ram Chahe Leela ( Ram Leela), these songs from SLB’s movies are known to make a huge impact. The filmmaker has been busy prepping for the release of Gangubai Kathiawadi featuring Alia Bhatt, Emraan Hashmi and Ajay Devgn.
