Popular Malayalam TV actor Ramesh Valiyasala found hanging at his residence
Popular Malayalam TV star Ramesh Valiyasala passes away. He was found dead at his home in Thiruvanthapuram. His wife had found him hanging in his bedroom’s ceiling fan at around 6.30 am. He was 54. The Thampanoor police have registered a case pertaining to unnatural death ( Section 174) of the Indian Penal Code. They have also started a probe.

Ramesh Valiyasala was living with his second wife and son in his residence at Valiyashala for the past few years. Apparently he was facing some financial crisis post the COVID pandemic phase. His body has been taken to the morgue of a medical college hospital.
He was one of the most popular and busy TV serial actors in the state and has also acted in films. The actor had two days back returned from shooting from a location for his latest project.
Ramesh came to the television industry from a theatre background. He joined the field when he was doing his degree at Government Arts College. The popular serial director Dr. Jaanradhanan was his mentor. Ramesh has been active in the serial industry for the last 22 years. He was last seen in Kannan Thamarakulam’s directorial Varaal.
The news of his death was shared by producer and production controller NM Badusha. Soon condolences poured in.
