Matty Healy Apologises To His Hotel Neighbors BTS For Weed And Chicken Smell

Matty Healy, the lead singer of The 1975 and Korean Boys Pop band Bagtonn Boys (BTS) are currently in the United States of America for music concerts. Both BTS and Metty Healy are reportedly staying in the same hotel too. Yes, Matty who once had heroin addiction took to Twitter informing his neighbours that he does not like weed and chicken anymore.

Taking to Twitter, Matty wrote:  ‘Hey @bts_bighit you’re in the hotel room next to me just wanted to say that the weed smell and the chicken in the corridor is 100% George and not me.”

He recently admitted that he is now clean after battling a heroin addiction and finding it a challenge being clean from the drug while recording and touring with The 1975.

Notably, Matty went to a rehab facility in Barbados in October 2017 to begin his daily heroin habit and has now talked about his recovery in a new interview, revealing he is taking his recovery ‘day by day’.

Matt said: “I have just made a record without doing [drugs] all of the time, so that was an experience and that was a challenge. ‘I have now started touring without doing it all of the time. That’s a challenge, but you have just got to take it day by day because you will just freak yourself out.”

Talking to Rolling Stone, he said,  “I don’t have things that I want to write about that aren’t exactly what I feel day by day.”

“The problem I have now is that this is my truth, and I feel like I can’t negotiate properly with the world if I can’t tell the truth,” he added.
