Men Who Threatened Salman Khan on Social Media Arrested

Two men who had threatened Salman Khan have been arrested by the police. The culprits have been identified as Jacky Bishnoi, alias Laurence Babal, and Jagdish they had threatened Salman in a social media post on September 16. The duo are vehicle thieves and drug smugglers had done this to garner publicity.

Jacky had posted the threat against Salman Khan on Facebook in September. He had added ‘Lawrence’ as a prefix to his name so that people would think he was associated with the Lawrence gang of Jodhpur.

The post had a crossed picture of Salman Khan, reads: “Salman, think, you can save yourself from Indian law, however, Vishnoi Samaj and Sopu Party has announced death sentence for you. You are an accused in Sopu’s court. Salaam sahid da nu; Respect girls; Save animals; Avoid drugs & help poors; Sukha kahlon Garry”.

Jacky and Jagdish who are vehicle thieves had stolen two cars to carry out their drug smuggling operation. The police stopped Jacky and Jagdish for questioning when they got suspicious on seeing the men drive around in a luxury car. Further investigation revealed the duo was indulged in vehicle theft and drug smuggling. The cars have been seized. Cases of drug smuggling and vehicle theft have been registered against the men.

During interrogation, it was discovered that Jacky was the same man who had threatened Salman on social media.

On the work front, Salman Khan is gearing for the release of ‘Dabangg 3‘. The movie also features Sonakshi Sinha, Arbaaz Khan, Sudeep and marks the debut of Saaie Manjrekar.
