Met Gala 2019: Avengers Endgame star Benedict Cumberbatch’s white suit goes viral

The prestigious Met Gala 2019 has launched early in the morning with the theme Camp: Notes on Fashion. It means that the celebrities were asked to go for the most outrageous outfits. From Priyanka Chopra to Lady Gaga each celebrity outdid one another as they walked the Pink Carpet.

One person caught the eye of the netizens and his outfit was soon viral on social media. He was none other than Benedict Cumberbatch aka Doctor Strange of ‘Avengers: Endgame’. The star wore an entirely white suit to the Met Gala 2019. But what caught the internet’s attention was the fact that the actor was wearing the Time Stone as a necklace at the red carpet.

Well, actually it was not the Time Stone from the popular release but a vintage nosegay brooch from around 1965, (most likely) lent by Verdura for the occasion. Made of peridot, diamond and platinum in 18k yellow gold it’s worth $46,500. It added colour to Benedicts all-white outfit and also gave it an edge.
