Earlier this year, Mohanlal had won the prestigious Padma Bhushan for his important contributions to the Indian Cinema for four decades.
Speaking to ANI he said, “It’s a great honour. It’s a great achievement as an individual, as an actor. It’s my 41st year in the movie industry. So I’m giving all the credits to my colleagues, my family & those who supported me in this beautiful journey.”
His recently released film ‘Lucifer’, is minting at the box-office and has grossed Rs 150 crores worldwide in just 21 days of its release. Lucifer marked the directorial debut of actor Prithviraj Sukumaran. Produced by Aashirvad Cinemas it also stars Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Saniya Iyappan and Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi.
