Nayanthara QUITS Atlee’s film amid Shah Rukh Khan son Aryan’s case?

Nayanthara is all set to make her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the upcoming yet-untitled Hindi directorial debut of filmmaker Atlee. However, now, according to the recent reports, the South actress has QUIT the Shah Rukh Khan-Atlee film.

According to Bollywood Life, Nayanthara had allotted her October dates for Atlee’s upcoming film with Shah Rukh Khan. However, the actor will not join the shoot as his son Aryan Khan is currently arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a cruise ship drug case.

“The film’s schedule was underway when Shah Rukh had to make an exit and attend to the issues in his personal life. He hasn’t got the opportunity to resume and there lies uncertainty over when he will be able to,” said the report.

Since Nayanthara can’t be a part of the film, Atlee has now reportedly approached Samantha Ruth Prabhu to play the female lead in the pan-India project. It is stated that that the film will be a revenge action entertainer. However, an official announcement about it yet to be made.

As per a report shared by film analyst, Manobala Vijayabalan, Shah Rukh, and Nayanthara’s film has been titled, ‘Lion.’ The project, which has been in the news for close to two years now, is yet to be officially announced.

There are also rumours claiming that the director has pulled off a major casting coup, which include- Sunil Grover, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, and Rana Daggubati among the cast.
