OnePlus 6T Launch: Price, Specifications, Features, and more

The OnePlus 6T launch took place in New York on October 29 where the Chinese mobile maker had finally unveiled its next flagship gadget. OnePlus 6T will be exclusive to Amazon in India and the phone is up for pre-orders on the e-commerce site.

Last two months had been important for the world smartphone leaders, as Apple launched its latest gadgets in September — which include iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR. Following the suit, Google launched Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. It is to be known that Apple Inc. will be launching the next set of gadgets on October 30, due to which OnePlus 6T’s launch was pre-poned to October 29. For the first time, OnePlus has partnered with T-Mobiles to sell its flagship in the US market.

Processor and Battery: The latest gadget comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, considered to the fastest among competitors. OnePlus takes the gaming experience to the whole new level with its Smart Boosts feature, using RAM as storage. This helps the device load the game up to 20 per cent faster with graphics-heavy games like PUBG. OnePlus 6T has a 23 per cent better battery life with a 3,700 mAh battery power.

Camera: OnePlus 6T has camera features very similar to OnePlus 6. It has 16 MP front camera and 16M + 20M sensors at f/1.7 aperture with OIS/EIS stabilization and can record videos at 480 fps slow-mo. For better low-light performance, OnePlus 6T comes with Nightscape mode for rear cameras. It uses multi-phase process (noise reduction, detail optimization, HDR) and takes only 2 seconds to shoot a photo. The Nightscape mode for rear cameras will also be available for OnePlus 6 from next month.

Display: The latest flagship comes in 6.24-inch screen with smaller notch and chin. Along with this, OnePlus provides the fastest in-display fingerprint sensor in the world — unlocks in just 0.34 seconds. Not only the OnePlus is the fastest but is most secured device, as it saves your fingerprint and digital transactions on the device itself. OnePlus introduces smooth navigation gesture 2.0 along with Android Pie features.

It has a revamped design with one hand locking mechanism. Made of tear-resistant and water-resistant fabric, the Explorer Backpack come in two colours — Slate Black and Morandi Black.
