Jee Le Zara: Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt team up for Farhan Akhtar’s directorial

On Monday, Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif announced their new film, ‘Jee Le Zaraa’, which is set to be a road trip movie and will be directed by Farhan Akhtar. Written by Zoya Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar, and Reema Kagti, the film will be produced by Reema Kagti, Zoya Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani, and Farhan Akhtar.

On the occasion of Dil Chahta Hai completing 20 years, Farhan Akhtar took to Twitter to make the announcement with a video, he wrote: “Did someone say road trip? Thrilled to announce my next film as director and what better day than 20 years of Dil Chahta Hai to do it. #JeeLeZaraa with @priyankachopra #KatrinaKaif @aliaa08 will commence filming in 2022 and I cannot wait to get this show on the road. 😊❤️”

The poster of ‘Jee Le Zara’ features Priyanka, Katrina, and Alia’s names along with a car made from a collage of numerous locations in India and it will surely give you ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ vibes. The actresses also shared the video poster of their respective social media handles.

The film marks Farhan Akhtar’s comeback to direction after ‘Don 2.’ Interestingly, this film will also mark Priyanka’s comeback in Bollywood. She was last seen in ‘The Sky Is Pink’ which also starred Farhan.

‘Jee Le Zara’  is definitely the biggest announcement of 2021. The movie’s release date and other details are awaited still.
