Apart from all the trolls, designer Wendell Rodricks also called her out for the same and made a comment on Priyanka’s dress by sharing a photo of the actress about how the “the neckline goes all the way from LA to Cuba.” Well, it looks like this did not go well with PeeCee’s mommy. However, her mom slammed him for failing to admit that he body-shamed Priyanka on social media.

Taking to her Twitter handle, she wrote, “Wendel Rodricks afraid to admit he was body shaming Priyanka. Such a fake! He covers his legs cos he has varicose veins. Will ge cover his fave with hijab when he wrinkles up????”

Here’s the tweet:

However, later the designer clarified his comment and stated that he was shaming the dress more than body-shaming Priyanka Chopra.

In recent media chat for an event on organ trafficking, Madhu Chopra was honestly talking about her daughter’s outfit that she carried at the Annual Grammy Awards, she said, “I’m glad it happened (she carried the dress) because I feel, it made her stronger. She lives her life on her own terms. As long as she is not hurting anybody, it’s her body and she can do anything she wants to and she a beautiful one too. I send a saying that says ‘it’s my life and whose life I’m living your or mine?’ I can do whatever I want with it to do. That’s the philosophy that everyone should follow.”

Sharing her opinions on internet trolls, “Trolls are anonymous people hiding behind computers. They don’t have joy in their lives, I think. They think they get attention because of the bad things they say. They don’t mean to say bad things but they get attention. I don’t give much weight to the trollers,” Dr. Madhu said.
