Shilpa Shetty’s Husband Raj Kundra Sent To Police Custody Till July 27

Businessman Raj Kundra and one Ryan Thorpe have been sent to police custody till July 27. This is in the case related to the production and showcase of pornographic content. Kundra and Thorpe were produced before Magistrate Court in Mumbai earlier today.

Police produced Shilpa Shetty’s husband & businessman Raj Kundra and Ryan Thorpe before Magistrate Court. They sought 7 days further police custody, in connection with a case relating to the production of pornographic films. Mumbai police suspect’s that money earned from pornography was used for online betting. They told the court that transactions between Raj Kundra’s Yes bank account and the United Bank of Africa account need to be investigated.

Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai crime branch on Monday night in a case, related to the alleged creation of pornographic films. Kundra was publishing them through some apps. Accused of being the “key conspirator” of the case, he was remanded in police custody.  Kundra was booked under sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292 and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) besides relevant sections of the IT Act and the Indecent Representation.
