Rambo 5: Dwayne Johnson Is Super Pumped for the Intense Action Scene

Action films like ‘John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame’ have been ruling the box-office since their release. We now have the King of Action all set to make a comeback after a long hiatus. Yes, we are talking about Sylvester Stallone who is reprising his iconic role of Vietnam veteran John Rambo in his upcoming franchise finale, Rambo V: Last Blood. The Rock aka Dwayne Johnson is quite excited about the latest installment.

Sylvester Stallone who’s played the troubled Vietnam veteran for over 35 years, has been constantly sharing updates online. Recently he shared a BTS video and this Instagram post seems to have caught the eyes of another action icon: Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

In the video we see Sylvester Stallone rehearsing an action sequence in which he as Rambo brutally ambushes his enemies in a cave-like structure. In a matter of 20 seconds, he blows one with a sawed-off shotgun, spears another in the head through a hole in the wall, and get ready to cut a third person’s leg off.

Directed by Adrian Grunberg (Get the Gringo) from a script written by Sylvester Stallone and Matt Cirulnick (Absentia), ‘Rambo: Last Blood’ stars Stallone, Paz Vega, Sergio Peris-Mencheta and Yvette Monreal. The movie is the fifth in the franchise, and it will be the last time Sylvester takes on the role of John Rambo.

The film hits theaters September 20.
