After Shah Rukh, Hrithik & Tiger, Ranveer Singh To Play Superhero In Bollywood?

Days after Deepika Padukone had made an announcement of playing Super heroine in in India’s first sci-fi project revolving around a female central protagonist, reports are doing rounds on social media, Ranveer Singh will soon be seen playing Superhero in action adventure project.

Ranveer Singh, who has delivered several hit movies such as Padmaavat, Simmba and Gully Boy in less than two year, has emerged as the first choice of many directors. Owing to his rising popularity among India, there are several directors are approaching him to cast in their movies. Apart from Kabir Khan’s 83, and Karan Johar’s star studded film Takht, Ranveer has several other project to do in near future.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, Ranveer Singh has been approached for three big projects under Aditya Chopra’s banner Yash Raj Films. A source quoted as saying to the entertainment website, “Ranveer has been locked for three big films under Aditya Chopra’s banner YRF. He just has to sort his dates out to start one next year, once he finishes Takht. He begins shooting for KJo’s period drama around September this year and the shoot is expected to be wrapped up around March-April next year. There are several offers he’s looking at, but he obviously will keep preference to the Yash Raj projects.”

The source told the publication, “Ranveer is doing Maneesh Sharma’s next which is a musical. After that, he has also liked another project where he will play a superhero. It’s an action adventure project that is being planned as a franchise and will be mounted on a lavish scale. It will be one of the biggest projects for the company, too. He is also supposed to do a film with Ali Abbas Zafar right after these two.”

It is to be noted that apart from Ranveer Singh, Hirithik Roshan, Shah Rukh Khan and Tiger Shroff have already played Superhero in Hindi movies.
