Salman Khan donates 1 lakh sanitizers to the Mumbai Police, Maharashtra’s CM hails the actor

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray thanks Salman Khan for donating 1 lakh hand sanitizers to the Mumbai Police.


Salman Khan is doing the most he can to help his fellow countrymen during this coronavirus pandemic, from providing financial aid to everyday wage workers to distributing ration to the needy, now, yet, again, the actor has donated 1 lakh sanitizers to the Mumbai Police.

The Dabangg actor has graciously donated hand sanitizers of his new grooming and personal care brand FRSH, to the Mumbai Police department.  To note, the actor’s noble gesture came into light after Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray hailed him.

“Thank you @BeingSalmanKhan for providing 1Lakh Hand Sanitizers to our @MumbaiPolice #WarAgainstVirus,” wrote Uddhav Thackeray.

Yuva Sena member Rahul Kanal also lauded the actor and tweeted, “Thank you @BeingSalmanKhan bhai for being there for our frontline warriors, thank you @CMOMaharashtra @AUThackeray ji @MumbaiPolice @CPMumbaiPolice for being there for one and all…FRSH sanitisers to be distributed to all our frontline warriors in the Police Dept 🙏🏻”

Currently, the Race 3 actor is spending quarantine time with his family and friends at his Panvel farmhouse ever since the coronavirus lockdown came into effect. He also released his Eid special song, titled, ‘Bhai Bhai,’  which is the third song that the superstar has released amidst the lockdown after ‘Pyar Karona’ and ‘Tere Bina.’

On the work front, the actor will be seen next on the big screen in Prabhudeva’s action drama ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai,’  helmed by Prabhdheva and also stars Randeep Hooda and Disha Patani in key roles. The movie was scheduled to release on Eid 2020 but has been pushed due to the coronavirus lockdown.
