In an interview with 123Telugu, speaking about the break, Jaanu actress said, “I am married and I need to think about my family. Besides, we all know that a heroine’s career is quite short. That’s why I may act for 2-3 years more.”

The Super Delux actress has recently been roped in Vignesh Shivan’ directorial venture which has Vijay Sethupathi and Nayantara in the lead roles. As per the source, once the shooting of the film wraps, she will take a break from the film industry and she has already conveyed the same message to the producers, who are approaching her with movie offers.

Besides Telugu movies, Samantha Akkineni is all set to make her digital debut with a Hindi web series opposite Manoj Bajpayee. She was also approached to play a lead role in Hindi remake of ‘U-Turn’, but she denied to do it.
