John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar starrer ‘Satyameva Jayate 2’ is one of the most anticipated films from Bollywood. The makers had announced the film earlier this year, however owing to the pandemic Coronavirus lockdown the shootings were stalled. Now the leading cast kick-starts their schedule in Lucknow. Their pictures goes viral on the internet.

As per a report by Deccan Chronicle, the director, Milap Zaveri while talking about the film said that the backdrop of the story is set in the Lucknow. Thus team has decided to shoot the film there. On the other side certain portions will also be shot in Mumbai for a few days towards the end of their shooting schedules. Elaborating more on the film, he said further, “On the first day, we will shoot only with the lead pair. John and Divya Khosla Kumar. Subsequently, other actors like Harsh Chhaya, Gautami Kapoor, Shaad Randhawa, Anup Soni, and Sahil Vaid will join us. The schedule of SMJ will continue in Lucknow until January, 2021.”
Milap also took to his Instagram handle and shared the pictures from the Lucknow sets. He could be seen striking a pose with John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar and they look excited for the shootings. Check out their lovely pictures here below:

‘Satyameva Jayate’ of 2018 was a commercially a hit film and did great business at the box-office and thus the makers are taking the franchise forward pairing Divya Khosla Kumar and John Abraham in the sequel. The plot of sequel reportedly would revolve around the fight against injustice and misuse of power and John will be seen in fierce character.
