Microsoft unveils ‘Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II’ for Xbox Series X

Microsoft Studios left fans surprised as it announced ‘Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II’ for its Xbox Series X. The trailer of the Ninja Theory’s Hellblade 2: Senua’s Saga was unveiled at The Game Awards 2019. The game that is a sequel to 2017’s critically-acclaimed Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, is all about Senua who is suffering from a mental illness, attempting to bring her lover back from the dead. Her journey takes her through the depths of Helheim, where she encounters objects and creatures from Pict and Viking lore.

The trailer showcases that Senua’s struggles are far from over and that her battle has just begun. Actress Melina Juergens is reprising her role as Senua. Looks like the sequel is likely to be better than the prequel that was a gamechanger in 2017.

Senua’s Saga is the sequel to 2017’s Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. It is a powerful game about demonic energy, love and the power of the human mind, set in a dark fantasy world. Ninja Theory is the studio behind it. Microsoft had purchased Ninja Theory in June 2018, amid a raft of other acquisitions for Xbox Game Studios.
