The alleged couple were cheered by Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner and many others rooting for them to end their act with a kiss. On stage, Shawn and Camila came close to tease a possible kiss. However, Camila runs away without planting that highly-anticipated kiss on Shawn.
The no-kiss moment left Sophie and Joe disappointed. Joe took to Twitter to share the hilarious yet relatable moment and wrote, “#VMAs are over, but we’re still waiting for that kiss tho @Camila_Cabello @ShawnMendes.
The MTV Video Music Awards 2019 aka VMAs 2019 took place a few hours ago. The star-studded night saw several stars take on stage to perform and receive their VMA awards. This includes Taylor Swift and the Jonas Brothers.
Shawn and Camila also won the VMA for Best Collaboration for Señorita. Accepting the award and thanking all Shawn said, “We’re just super happy that everyone loves the song.” Cabello added, “What he said,” before she thanked the fans and said: “Get wasted!”
Apart from Shawn and Camila, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Jonas Brothers and Cardi B among others also won big at the 2019 Video Music Awards.
