Siya Ke Ram actress Snigdha Akolkar ties knot with Sreeram Ramanathan in Pune on August 25
Snigdha Akolkar — who is popularly known for her character in Indian TV serials Karmphal Data Shani and Siya Ke Ram — has tied the knot with a businessman, Sreeram Ramanathan. The wedding ceremony of Snigdha Akolkar was a close-knit affair attended by only close friends and family members. The wedding took place on 25th August in Pune.

According to reports, the couple got married as per the Tamil rituals. The pictures of their wedding are doing rounds on social media. On her big day, the gorgeous actress donned red Kanjivaram saree, golden temple jewellery and gajra.

When the actress was asked her honeymoon plans, she told TellyChakkar, “Well, since we both are busy with work, we plan to go for two honeymoon vacations. At the moment, we will go on a short trip, and later for a prolonged holiday.”
Speaking about the actress, she made her acting debut in 2005 with Hare Kkaanch Ki Choodiyaan, in which she played the role of Shyamlee. She later appeared in Siya Ke Ram, Vikram Bhatt’s web series Zakhmi, and a movie called Love U…Mr. Kalakaar.
Speaking about her marriage and seeing someone from acting field, Snigdha had earlier said that she vowed not to marry someone belonging to the same industry. However, her family would often question her about it, as they felt that marrying someone from the same profession will lead to a better understanding between her and her spouse.
She further added,” Over the years, I have realised that most of the time, I am surrounded by people who are from the industry. So now, I too don’t mind dating and marrying someone from my industry.”
