Cat Fight: Sonakshi Sinha and Parineeti Chopra share cold vibes in Bhuj?

Catfights are common in Bollywood whenever two actresses are asked to share screen space. Apparently same is the case on the sets of Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’. Actresses Sonakshi Sinha and Parineeti Chopra are rumouredly sharing cold vibes on the sets of the war drama.

As reported by a source to Pinkvilla, “Sona and Pari share uncomfortable vibes on the sets. The cold war started when Parineeti learned that Sonakshi has been telling everyone that she plays the female lead in the movie. Obviously, that didn’t go down well with Chopra, who was heard complaining to the production team about this.”

Another source adds, “Parineeti feels that her and Sonakshi’s role is equal and both have a meaty part to play. Hence it is unfair for Sonakshi to proclaim that she is the leading lady of the movie. This has created an issue between the two actresses, who refuse to speak to each other.”

The film has Sonakshi depicting the role of Sunderben Jetha Madharparya, a social worker who convinced the local women to help rebuild the only runway in Bhuj, that had been bombed by the Pakistani army during the war. While, Parineeti will be seen as Heena Rehman, an undercover Indian agent in Lahore.

‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’ features Ajay Devgn as Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, who was in charge of the Bhuj airbase in Gujarat during the India-Pakistan war of 1971. The film also features Sanjay Dutt, Rana Daggubati, and Ammy Virk in pivotal roles. The war drama is produced by T-Series and Select Media Holdings LLP and scheduled to release on August 14, 2020.
