Sourav Ganguly Biopic: Dada wants Hrithik Roshan to essay his role

Former Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly, lovingly known as Dada by his fans was recently asked about his biopic and which actor would he like to essay his role. Sourav Ganguly wants his role to be played by Bollywood actor, Hrithik Roshan. Looks like the former captain is quite impressed by the actor’s acting skills.

Recently, in a talk show, Sourav was interrogated on his biopic and will be the one to enact his character. The cricketer said, “If I get a biopic, I would love to see Hrithik Roshan in my character because I like him a lot. There was a time when in the film ‘Super 30’ When Hrithik was chosen for the role of Anand Kumar, everyone was very skeptical whether Hrithik would fit into Anand’s character after his dashing look. But Hrithik was the only actor other than whom The actor does not prove right for the film. “

Hrithik proved his mastery by pulling off a real-life character with his 2019 release Super 30. The movie is based on mathematician from Bihar — Anand Kumar, Roshan received lots of appreciation for his portrayal. According to the reports, Yash Raj Films has given a green signal to get a second installment with Hrithik being a constant in the sequel.

Roshan also featured in the action film, War which was a massive blockbuster. Apart from Hrithik, Tiger Shroff, and Vaani Kapoor were also a part of the film. War was directed by Siddharth Anand and has collected over ₹475 crores at the worldwide box office.

On the other note, Hrithik will be seen next in Krrish 4, which will be directed by his father Rakesh Roshan again. The movie will hit the theatres in December 2020.
