Spider-Man might form school boy crush on Captain Marvel in sequel

Marvel Studios has announced the projects that will be released under MCU Phase 4. As per recent rumours, the MCU is all set for a Captain Marvel sequel featuring Brie Larson. Now a rumour is currently circulating online about Tom Holland making an appearance as Spider-Man in Captain Marvel 2 and he might have a crush on Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers.

As per Cosmic Book News, Tom Holland’s superhero is expected to appear in Captain Marvel 2. Not only does the report tease a crossover but it also suggests the possibility of Peter Parker falling for Carol Danvers. The new report suggests that Peter Parker will develop a crush on Captain Marvel after after the events of Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home.

We had last seen Spider-Man crossing paths with Captain Marvel in the epic Avengers: Endgame battle. When Peter was given the task to take the Iron Gauntlet to Tony Stark, Carol and other female superheroes united to help Peter reach Tony while protecting him from Thanos.

Well if the rumour comes true then we do wonder if things might get complicated. As we had seen Peter dating Michelle in Spider-man Far From Home. It could lead to a love triangle being formed between the three then. But the rumour further suggests that Captain Marvel will humiliate Spider-Man in order to promote females being better than males.

The rumours may or may not come true. But if they do then it will be interesting to watch the romance between Captain Marvel and Spider-Man.
