Star Wars Actor Andrew Jack Passes Away At 76 Due To Covid-19

Star Wars actor Andrew Jack took his last breath at 76 as he was infected by coronavirus; his wife has offered her condolences on social media

Star Wars actor Andrew Jack took his last breath in Britain due to the novel coronavirus, his agent Jill McCullough confirmed on Wednesday (April 1). The actor died in a hospital in Surrey on Tuesday (March 31) and he was 76 at the time of death.

McCullough said in his statement, “Andrew lived on one of the oldest working houseboats on the Thames, he was fiercely independent but madly in love with his wife, also a dialect coach.”

Andrew’s wife, Gabrielle Rogers is quarantined in Australia. She took to her Instagram handle to mourn the death of her husband. She shared a picture of Andrew and wrote, “It breaks my heart to let you know we lost a man today. Andrew Jack was diagnosed with Coronavirus when admitted to hospital less than 48 hours ago in suburban London. He died today. He was in no pain, and he slipped away peacefully knowing that his children, step children, grandchildren, brother, friends, and I were all ‘with’ him. Take care out there, lovers x”.(sic)

Jack starred in Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi, Solo: A Star Wars Story and Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens.
