Steven Spielberg Reportedly “Embarrassed” By Daughter Mikaela’s Porn Star Career

Mikaela Spielberg, daughter of acclaimed Hollywood director Steven Spielberg, recently announced that she is pursuing a career in the Porn industry. In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Mikaela had said that her parents were “intrigued” by the news. She went on to add that her parents were “not upset” by her revelation.

However, the Jaws director might be more embarrassed and concerned for his daughter than “intrigued”. Steven Spielberg and his wife are reportedly concerned about how daughter Mikaela’s decision will reflect on their other children. According to Page Six, a family friend of the Spielberg’s has revealed:

“Outwardly, Steven and Kate — who are the most evolved parents in the world and love their kids beyond all measure — have always been supportive of Mikaela and try to understand her,” said the family friend. “Obviously, though, they’re embarrassed by her sudden public admission of entry into the sex worker world.”

“Nothing can hurt Steven Spielberg’s immaculate reputation, nor Kate’s, but they’re worried about how [Mikaela’s revelation] looks for their other kids, who are trying to be supportive but who are also embarrassed.

“This certainly isn’t how they were raised.”

Mikaela Spielberg is one of Steven Spielberg’s seven children. She is engaged to professional darts player Chuck Pankow. According to Mikaela, her fiancee is completely supportive of her choices. However, it took him a while to come around to the idea.

“It took him a long time to come around to it because obviously in the South there’s so much shame around that still,” Mikaela said.

“We still have this idea of what women can and cannot be – this is such a de-legitimized form of work.”
