After three years of relationship, Swara and Himanshu split ways.
In 2016, Swara Bhasker accepted her love for the screenwriter Himanshu Sharma. Now, after three years, reports of their breakup is the talk to the town. According to a report in the Mumbai Mirror, the couple parted ways from their five-year-old relationship.

Their love story began on the sets of Aanand L. Rai’s film, Tanu Weds Manu.
According to few other sources, the couple took this decision due to their difference in plans about their future.
Last year Swara and Himanshu were holidaying in Europe and she shared a picture with a caption, “When your girlfriend forces a vacation on you and then makes you pose for selfies also!” She also used the hashtags- #TortureByHoliday with #HimanshuSharma.
In 2016, Swara admitted to be dating Himanshu, but she made it very clear of no marriage plans back then.
“Yes, we are dating and are happy and committed. Now you know why Himanshu is my favorite dialogue writer. There are no marriage plans right now. We are both busy with our respective careers. To top that, I, for one, am too broke to get married,” were the words by the actress.
Career-wise, Swara last acted in Veere Di Wedding with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Shikha Talsania.
